1) Overview
This Refund Policy applies to purchases made directly from Shared Balance Hub (including any future shop or checkout accessible from cart.php). If you purchased through a third‑party gallery, marketplace, or distributor, their policy applies.
2) Categories covered
- Original artworks
- Limited edition prints and multiples
- Workshops, events, or services
- Digital items (e.g., PDFs, templates)
3) Returns—originals and editions
- Change‑of‑mind returns: within 14 calendar days of delivery (UK/EU: this aligns with applicable consumer withdrawal rights for distance sales). Items must be in original condition and packaging.
- Damaged or incorrect items: notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item, inner packing, and outer box. Keep all materials for carrier inspection.
- Non‑returnable items: commissions or customized works; items marked final sale; digital downloads once accessed.
4) Returns—workshops and services
- Refunds: full refund if cancelled 14+ days before the scheduled date; 50% refund if cancelled 7–13 days prior; no refund if cancelled within 6 days, except where required by law.
- Rescheduling: where possible, we may offer a credit for a future session at our discretion.
5) Digital items
You can cancel within 14 days of purchase if you have not downloaded or accessed the content. By downloading or accessing, you expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge you lose the right to cancel.
6) How to start a return
- Email [email protected] with subject “Return Request”, including your order number, item(s), reason, and photos if damaged.
- Wait for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and instructions. Returns without an RMA may be refused.
7) Shipping returns
- Pack securely: use original packaging where possible (including corner protectors, sleeves, spacers). We may require insured, trackable shipping for artworks.
- Costs: If the return is due to our error or damage in transit, we cover reasonable return costs. In other cases, return shipping is your responsibility.
- Risk: You are responsible for the item until it reaches us. Consider shipping insurance for high‑value items.
8) Refunds and timing
Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you of approval or rejection. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days (bank processing times may vary). Shipping fees are non‑refundable unless the return is due to our error.
9) Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to availability. If unavailable, we will offer a refund or store credit.
10) Order issues and chargebacks
If there is an issue with your order, contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution.
11) Gifts
For items marked as a gift at purchase and shipped directly to you, we may issue a gift credit upon a valid return.
12) Legal rights
This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws (e.g., Consumer Contracts Regulations in the UK/EU).
